How to make a withdrawal to an external crypto wallet

VeraWallet offers the option to withdraw your VRA tokens to another wallet. Please note that you can now send VRA to ERC20 (Ethereum) or BEP20 (BNB Smart Chain) compatible personal wallets or exchange accounts.

Sending VRA to other types of wallets or addresses may result in the permanent loss of your VRA.

Withdrawal screen and the amount of withdrawal

If you would like to withdraw your VRA to an external wallet, on the main screen in your VeraWallet, press the “Withdraw” button. In the window that appears, choose the option “Withdraw to other wallet”.

In the screen that appears, enter the desired amount of VRA to be transferred from your VeraWallet to an external wallet. Please note that the amount must be greater than 5000 VRA, which includes the gas fee of 2,700 VRA, which is the fixed fee charged for processing the withdrawal.

At the bottom of the screen, you will see the total amount of VRA that will arrive at the destination wallet. If you would like to receive exactly the amount entered in the ”Amount” field, use the “Change to” button at the bottom of the screen — this automatically adds the gas fee to the amount entered in the field.

Ethereum and BNB Smart Chain (BSC) network options

After entering the amount of VRA, you need to select the network for processing the withdrawal that is compatible with your receiving wallet.

With the introduction of the BNB Smart Chain (BSC) network option, you can now choose to send VRA tokens via the following networks:

  • ERC20 (Ethereum)
  • BEP20 (BNB Smart Chain).

To select the network, press the “Network” field and choose the appropriate option from the drop-down menu.

Always ensure the selected network matches the network of your destination wallet to prevent loss of your tokens.

Destination wallet address and finishing the withdrawal

Next, enter the destination wallet address and double-check it for accuracy. Note that a mistake in the wallet address may result in the permanent loss of your VRA. It is your sole responsibility to make sure that the destination wallet address is correct.

Once you’ve entered and verified all the details, press the “Withdraw” button at the bottom of the screen.

You will then see the withdrawal marked as pending on the main screen in your VeraWallet account under “Recent activity” and in the “Activity” tab. By default, all VeraWallet accounts use the standard withdrawal process (estimated 24 hours) but there is also an option to enable Automated withdrawals which can take a few minutes*, the withdrawal is processed automatically and there is no opportunity to recall the transfer.

While the withdrawal is still processing, a “Cancel” button will be available for you to cancel the transaction if needed

Once the withdrawal is finished, its status will change to “Completed” and the button to cancel it will disappear.

* Please note: the majority of all Automated Withdrawals will be processed within a few minutes but there may be some cases an estimated 12 hours are necessary for processing due to our cold storage facilities for security.

Automated Withdrawal Option

If you would like to speed up the withdrawal process, you can switch to the Automated Withdrawal option. It allows sending the withdrawals within minutes*. To be eligible for Automated Withdrawals, you need to meet the following conditions:

  • Two Factor Authentication (2FA) must be turned on
  • Your VeraWallet account has received at least 100,000 VRA in deposits

Once the conditions are met, you will see a checkbox button “Enable automated withdrawals” on your withdrawal screen to turn Automated Withdrawals on.

You can disable Automated Withdrawals at any time by deselecting the same checkbox. Any withdrawals made after that will be processed as standard withdrawals.

* Please note: the majority of all Automated Withdrawals will be processed within a few minutes but there may be some cases an estimated 12 hours are necessary for processing due to our cold storage facilities for security.

Withdrawal Processing Time

The standard time for processing standard (manual) withdrawals is up to 24 hours. In some cases, processing time may increase to 48 hours or more.
